What this is

Alchemy is the science, art, and philosophy of change. Wherever one thing is being turned into another, there is alchemy. In the old texts, the great work was turning lead into gold. Why gold? Because gold doesn't scorch, rust, or tarnish. You can melt it down and remold it a hundred times and its integrity stays intact.

Gold is virtually indestructible. And so are you, even if right now you don't feel it.

Alchemy 101 is nine months of guided deconstruction and reconstruction, in community, moving through the four stages of the alchemical process: nigredo, the long night. Albedo, the illuminations that start to light it up. Citrinitas, where we take responsibility for what we've seen. And rubedo, where something new gets made from it all.

Who this is for

  • The healers, mentors, and teachers everyone else leans on, who want to deepen the philosophy underneath what they do
  • People who feel called to start something but can't articulate what, and so can't quite act on it yet
  • People who've done years of the work, therapy included, and have hit a plateau they can't name
  • People overwhelmed by their awareness of the world, who want to hold a collective consciousness without being swallowed by it
  • People recovering from a spiritual experience, maybe a destabilizing one, who want a grounded framework so it becomes a doorway instead of a spiral

And here's the part my marketing team probably wishes I wouldn't say: this is difficult. Jung said the development of the personality is one of the most costly things there is, and he wasn't being poetic. There will be moments in nigredo where you'll wonder why you signed up to feel worse on purpose.

The people who get the most out of this are the ones who hear that and feel something in them say "good."

Why an application

Two reasons. One: this program runs on community. Your buddy, your cohort, the Discord. Who is in the room matters, and I take some care over that. Two, the more honest one: the application is the first assignment. It asks you real questions about where you are, and people tell me every season that filling it out was the moment the work actually started.
